I was in Target this weekend and saw they now have replicas of all the bikes from American Chopper! Black Widow, Fire Dept, Jet Fighter and all. They small ones and bigger 1/10 scale versions. The 1/10 scale looked big enough for the Biker Chick. FYI

The paint apps on these isn't as good as I hoped, but they are cool nonetheless

1/10 is a little too big.
I want a real chopper for any custom or addition I do, not one of those pansy glam-cycles.
My Pop's been talking about the 2 of us building a chopper once we finish the 53 Chevy Pickup that we've been putzing around with for a couple years now. With all the popularity of these bikes they've become REALLY easy to build, you just buy all the parts and bolt everything together. Anyone with an impact wrench and socket set can put a bike together.
Speaking of choppers I saw the funniest thing last weekend. I saw this REALLY small guy on a HUGE Detroit Chopper (think OCC T-Rex (non-theme bike) made in Detroit) He was going about 2 mph through the Home Depot parking lot racing the shit outta the engine. He was getting the 'look at me and my big, cool bike' reaction that I'm sure he was hoping for. Well, he got to the end of the store and was trying to turn around when he cranked the handlebars further then the raked front end liked and DUMPED THE BIKE [img]biggrin.gif[/img] [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
EVERYONE that was outside the store laughed their asses off!

yeah they're hitting here also! for sure would like the lines I've watched built on tv. firebike seems to be selling pretty fast as you see few of them and many of the others.
