HELP!!!!!!!

having some computer troubles at home... been without access to the net for two days now.

for whatever reason, i'm getting an error message every time i click on the IE icon. i used spybot to clear all the crap off the computer a couple days before this.

so.... like the title says, HELP!

What does the error say are you getting.

It is a little hard to trouble shhot "I get an error".......

it says Internet Explorer has experienced an error and must close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

then it gives me the option to report the error to microsoft, which i've done about 50 times now.

What OS are you running?

I would recommend trying to reinstall the IE, but the only way to do that is to reinstall the OS, and that will change all your local configuration settings (but not the programs that you have installed).

An option would be to find a stand alone download of the IE browser from someone/someplace and bring it to your system.

And as for reporting the error to microsoft. I wouldn't bother. It isn't like they are going to call you up to help you with your problem! [img]wink.gif[/img]
