Goodbye...

I'ma say this now
i aint leaving till tomorrow morning but it's early
i gonna be gone until the 7th atleast...
heading up to th emountains to see my grandma, my aunns and uncles and my 18 cousins

6 hour car ride up there

thats were my mom grew up
been a tradition to head up there every fourth of july..
that place is awesome during this time..

the town puts on a parade in the morning..
then games for the kids (like races, and stuff like that)

then mid afternoon there are waterfights
firemen, and their kids or other firemen get to shoot off the HUGE hoses at each-other
first one to get knocked down wins
and the crowd gets soaked it's awesome
then they put on a huge fireworks display
at night after the tailgate party
it's really awesome

and in the mix i get to see my family
get to go swimming in a hot springs
get to go jeeping
it's a blast

but enough of my rambling
i'll be around the boards the rest of the night
but i'll be gone..

TCM...don't do my Vintage toy until i get back [img]wink.gif[/img]

Wow, that place is stunning. And that's the way the 4th of July should be everywhere. It's one of my pet peeves that the day of the year that should be the most important to us, is often just another day of bargain hunting at the mall.

If I was in charge, nothing would be open. Everyone would march in their hometown parade, eat a good picnic meal with friends and ooh and ahh at the fireworks.
