I think that's a law for all DIs. Mine used to call us ladies and maggots.
Phx and Albuquerque are great. I personally wouldn't want to live in Vegas, but it's great to visit. Any Phx info you need, let me know. I moved here from Maryland over five years ago and it's been great.

Just need to know what the crappy areas of Phoenix are, so I avoid them in my home search. I don't want to live in the city, a 20-30 minute drive from it would be cool. Thanks.

Hard to answer that question, really. Phoenix is unlike other major cities in that it's really large in land mass with a cluster of outlying suburbs. Very much like Los Angeles if you're familiar with that.
You'll want to live as close as possible to where you work to cut down on your commute. I live in Gilbert, which is about 20 minutes east of Tempe where the office is.
Other nice areas are Tempe, Chandler, Ahwatukee (great area, where I lived before my divorce), Scottsdale.
