kick ass... thanks for the help man, I'm very anxoius to do it now...

I figured that was a sponge effect... I'll probably give the thing a dark grey/black wash then sponge the gray on and go over it again with a lighter gray for highlights... I have one of those sponge tip brishes for doing drybrushing that will work nicely. This is gonna be fun!

The alley only took two "brick" sheets. Since it's traingular shaped - we were able to cut the sheets diagonally (following the mortar) and stack them.

Here's something that will be the focal point of the next addition I do to the alley.

Yes... the plastic sheets are textured. About 1/16 of an inch.

The black foam core board is about 1/8th to 3/16th of an inch thick.

    Found the stuff tonight!!!

They only had the red brick, and it was $6.99 a sheet... but it was worth it - this stuff is great! I also got a sheet of a square tile that was $4.99, that'll work great for the ground...

Thanks again for all the help! Once I get it done, I'll post pics! (Even though I have one more custom to finish (Snake Eyes) before I finish the Firefly that will go on this diorama. I'm gonna do a cool dio with him and this brick stuff...

    more to come!

(And yeah, I'm still workig on the Manga Overtkill... I work on him in the background, and I've had a few roadblocks with him... ugh.)
