A local man was killed in an industrial accident Tuesday at a Pontiac facility. Police identified the man as Steven McGirr, 46, and said he is from the Grand Blanc area.
McGirr was killed after cleaning a sensor on a robotic arm about 4 a.m. at Hydrodynamic Technologies Inc., on Silverdome Drive in Pontiac, Sgt. William Ware of the Pontiac Police Department said.
When the sensor was clean, the robotic arm grabbed McGirr and shoved him into a press. McGirr was killed instantly.

I'm not taking any chances...
Ungrateful metallic cur. That robot should be tried and executed. Publicly.
ouch, that sounds incredibly painful even with the "died instantly" claim. but i could totally picture a HAL voice "please clean my censor dave"
If someone grabbed my telescoping sensor, I'd retaliate too...

That poor guy! Not a nice way to go
I think that industrial robot was sent from the future. McGirr was suppose to lead the revolution!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">now see i always thought John Connor was inconsequential, same with all his "officers" killed off in T3, had he not been there somebody else would've just taken his spot...but oh well still feel sorry for the censor cleaning guy Originally posted by Andyman:

The "good" robots of the future don't have sensor cleaning technology and that leads to their downfall to the "evil" robots. You can't atomize what you can't see.
