Yep. I remember that. That's looking really cool. Sanding all that texture off must have been pretty tedious - but the result's been worth it.

Y'know, I thought about the 18" Spidey custom just the other day.
It's lookin' real good, man-- I'm really super-impressed by how smooth that sucker is. You must've busted ass and a half to get that thing as good-lookin' as it is.
Excellent, excellent work so far!

Looking good man!
A side note... I just found that Krylon now makes that plasticote paint (that bonds with plastic) in a Satin finish. Not nearly as glossy as the original... I just wish they would make a flat version already.
I got the satin, and used in on some new parts... works very well. It takes about a week for it to be "chip resistant" though... but I tested it on a bionicle balljoint and clasp, and a week later, I can snap the painted balljoint in the painted clasp, move them around, and it DOES NOT rub off!!!

it will be finished tomorrow though...
madad and wlm...extremely tedious, but yes, well worth it....
drau...i was wrestling with what finish to roll with so i asked the board and a large majority said shiny so i went with it....also the flash makes it look more shiny too....
paira...i was really surprised how well thatpaint sticks...it's awesome....
peeker....3-4 coats of flat black auto(car) primer...and so far 4 light coats of krylon fusion semi gloss paint....
