What a brilliant episode ! Who do you trust, Juliet or Ben? I've always had my money on Ben. There were so many twists and turns in last night's episode, I wouldn't even know where to begin discussing all of them.

I cracked a smile when Ben asked Jack if he realised tha Juliet looks like his ex wife cause i remember someone here noted that after the season premiere.

I'm still trying to figure out if those x-rays were a set up or not. Right now I suspect Juilet is doing the manipulating. To what end though? Is she more obsessed than Ben?
Ben's God theory was pretty interesting. So the island is God? [img]wink.gif[/img]
Maybe the tumor isn't life threatening as long as Ben remains on the island. Perhaps he wants it removed so he can leave.
I HATE that they killed off Ecko.

What did it say exactly at the end of the show last night?, I swear I thought I saw "season finale" or something similar.....anyone else see that?, if so; what's it mean?
It said Fall Finale.
After next week the show goes on hiatus for a while....
I said this last year, but last night's episode reconfirmed it for me - go watch Forbidden Planet and you'll know what's up with the smoke monster.
As to Juliette, here's what I think is happening...
- Juliet was pushed aside by Colleen at some point in the not too distant past. She was Ben's woman (wife?), but Colleen took the number 2 spot, hence all the bad blood we saw in a number of scenes this year, and the reason for the almost tears of Juliet at the very beginning of the very first episode.
- Juliet has wanted Ben out of the way for awhile, either because he really is a bad man, or because she has her own nefarious plan. I don't trust her, but I do believe she wants Ben dead.
- Ben was captured last year, but because of Colleen, she couldn't do it then with any sort of botched rescue attempt. Colleen in fact may have been the one that orchastrated the whole plan with Michael and Walt, since it couldn't have been Ben. He was in captivity, and whomever did do it, had a pretty twisted mind as well.
- So Juliet just has to suck it up and go along, at least while both Ben and Colleen are alive and kicking. But then Colleen gets herself shot, and Juliet sees her chance.
- Juliet is a nurse, and full well new that there was no way Jack could save Colleen. She broght Jack to Colleen without talking to Ben - remember his surprise and anger that she let him out? She did that so he's see the x-rays, knowing he'd have to know more, and intefering with Ben's plans to twist Jack around.
- Colleen does die, and that might have been even helped along by Juliet - if she wants Jack to do something like that to Ben, it would be obvious that she'd be willing to do it herself as well. Convienently, the crash cart is 'broken'.
- with Colleen dead, Juliet can make her move with Jack, trying to convince him to kill Ben. With all that Ben has done to Jack and the survivors, it's not too much of a stretch for her to convince him to believe her. Now she just has to convince him to kill.
For the first time this season, I'm actually interested in what's happening with the Others.
