FYI to those that didn't get to pick up the Special LE Armitage repaint

FYI for those that don't remember - last year I think (actually 2 now), there was a LE repaint of the Anime series 2 Armitage figure that was only available when you purchased the lunch box deluxe set of the movie (came in a metal lunch box, with the second movie and the figure repaint). It had an original price of around $70.


When I was out tonight to celibrate the fact that my last interview with a company I am applying to went well, I ran into SunCoast. While going through the new LOTR figures, the manager asked if I had picked that boxed set up (as he knows I collect McF).

It has been marked down to $25. Not bad for the figure, the movie, and the collectable lunch box.

Just thought I would let you all know and give a heads up to those that would like to get this fugure, but haven't taken the opportunity to do so!

Mine had 2 of them - and I am not sure if they were just trying to get rid of what stock they had in store, or if you might also find the markdown on their site.

More than likely though - it is a multi-store markdown as the MusicLand chains don't really allow each store to decide on the pricing.

You can also maybe check Sam Goody and Media Play and see the same price.

I got mine last year... just under $100 CDN including taxes.

It's the only one I've ever seen in Toronto so I don't feel overly ripped off.
