I think I'm done collecting (pics)

Last Saturday the inevitable happened. I took my entire MOC/MIB collection & put it in my living room. I have it stored in boxes throughout my apartment. I am in a serious space-crunch and needed to consolidate everything & store it by size or shape of package. I had no idea my collection was this big. I didn't have the guts to do an inventory of all the figs I planned on keeping, but I did manage to weed out 40 some-odd figures I want to get rid of.


Right now, to me, this collection feels like such an albatross on my back, all these belongings. It was kind of like looking in the mirror for the first time in years & being horrified at how big I have grown. Every single one of these toys represents a story to me, and is more of a sentimental object than an investment. But to my eyes last Saturday, this is insane.

Some of you may say "it's not that bad" which may be true, but I feel this aquiring of toys is turning to more of an addiction than I care to admit. I have been collecting toys for almost 10 years now, and it feels like a good time to stop. Every toy I ever desired to see produced has been made. I need to quit while I am ahead.

BTW, these are all the toys I weeded out of my collection. I'll be posting them on ebay this weekend.

Mann, you GOTTA display the stuff, whether MOC or open. Then you don't get tired of them, you just get tired of dusting them.
