The space capsule from the Planet of Apes Pericles figure, a perfect fit for galactic touring...

cool!
I didn't know they made small toys from that flick...
Peeker, thay didn't, this is from the regular 6" line. Pericles was the little normal chimp they shot into space.

And TCM's right, Peek. No mini line, but Pericles was the coolest Burton Apes fig because he was a space monkey that came with his own pod...
Oh and the space helmet fits on Micros too of course.

oh yeah!!!
forgot aboot the little guy...
Had I known about that pod I would have been all over it! I wouldn't minded the monkey either.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">He was sorta rare when the line first came out, along with the red soldiar ape and the Krull ape guy. Occasionally Pericles is on ebay for a good price nowadays though!Originally posted by Andyman:

He was from the second series. The line sold so shitty, that most retailers passed on the second series. When they first came out, they were very hard to find, and going for quite a bit, but then Kay Bee bought the remaining stock, and sold them super cheap. Now they are much more common, and not hard to get for a decent price.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ya, Hasbro just hasn't had a great Apes track record (same with the 6'' Signature Series classic line). I thought the Burton movie figs were sculpted well, but the movie didn't leave much for the many of the characters to be interesting. Like that blonde..or even Marky Mark.Originally posted by TCM Hitchhiker:

After Pericles, I really liked the Thade figure. Although Hasbro cheaped out and didn't paint the back of his torso.
