college is coming up. that means i must prepare for the dorm room. the 125 dollars in best buy gift cards helps that. today...i got a TV. a nice one. i got a Sony 24" flatscreen. yesssss. all TVs 299 and over were 10% off, and my dad also gave me 50 bucks towards it, so it didn't set me back all that much. i'm so pumped for this it's rediculous...

Awesome. A word of advice, though. Get yourself a degaussing rod. EVERY Sony TV I've owned has gotten that damn green spot in at least one of its corners. Unless they have a built-in degausser that activates when the TV is turned on, they're a pain in the ass.

You might have to go through some small local TV repair/parts shops. Look up the model number and find the specs on it, that should tell you if your TV has a built-in degausser. The rods will generally run you about $70. [img]confused.gif[/img]
