I think he looks good. A nice composite of old & new Ghost Rider incarnations.

If it weren't for the PG-13 rating, I would have great expectations for this movie. I don't think the title character is necessarily R material. After all, he won't kill humans, and it IS possible to kick someones ass with a heavy chain without splashing brains on the wall. However, Ghost Rider needs to fight some EVIL dudes, and I think their EVIL should be established with graphic effectiveness.

Why would a PG-13 rating make sense? Because it expands the potential audience, watering down the movie's content for the sake of a few more dollars. There IS such a thing as an R-rated smash hit. Blade SHOULD have been a failure, but it wasn't. It was a huge hit that inspired 2 (ore more) sequels. Why can't the number crunchers and marketing suits look at THAT? Because all they see is Spider-Man (PG-13)= CASH!!! and Punisher (R) = flop. They learn NOTHING from the success of Blade OR the failures of Hulk and Daredevil.

    What a bunch of fuckheads.

Now, it IS possible for a PG-13 movie to be good, but Ghost Rider isn't the guy for that kind of thing. They've got to please the established audience, not just seduce the potential audience.

Did ANYBODY see Man-Thing on Sci-Fi? Apparently it went so unnoticed that I didn't even hear a word about how awful it was. I looked forward to that movie for over 2 years, and look what I got. Not EVEN a PG-13 theatrical release.

I've been dreaming of a Ghost Rider movie for over 14 years. Who's ready for a big heaping shitload of embarassing disappointment?

Fuck, I wanted a Hulk movie since the TV show, which I enjoyed when I was in preschool...and Hulk didn't even need to be rated R. AWFUL. At least Ang Lee's career is OVER now, so Hulk wasn't all bad.

I personally don't know much about Ghost Rider so I can't say wether or not it will be good or a goof. The pic looks good though.
