If they do something horrible with our elf, then I'll ignore it. As I've done before and probably will in the future as well, but we will never know if he's never in it, will we?
I agree with you all, that almost all rumours (as well logical sense) tell us that there will only be one new (major) mutant, and, sadly as it is, Beast's highly spoken for. I've never liked him very much, but Kurt. But Kurt... (Holding my thumbs.)

I just have this insatiable desire to see if they can bring Kurt "to life". If he ever makes one of the movies, I pray they'll do right by the character.
And I'm with you--Beast is OK, but he's just there. He's certainly better than Gambit. But Kurt is something special.

I know--Out of everything they need to do to create Kurt, getting that thin film of fuzz on his face is going to be tough.

I know, I know. It's just that a friend found this and, eventhough I am kind of pessimistic about this, I had to share: as my duty and to try to keep up the hope.
**Yeah and not nekkid either!**
LOL! Oh, no, poor Kurt would be cold...but I bet a lot of people wouldn't mind! ;P

Kurt dont like to be cold either,so clothe that Elf!
I dont mind the black leathery unies from X-Men Da Movie #1,but I dont wanna see my FUZZY elf with scales , O.K.? kinda gross really...
I have some knowledge of theatrical make-up and prosthetics , and Iv'e gotta say,That it is going to be some LONG hours in Make-up to make Nightcrawler look EVEN close to right. But it would be so worth it!

Well, they could put the fur in patches like the make up in Planet of The Apes. He doesn't really need to have hair directly around his eyeballs or in the crevices of his nose.
I was also once thinking about that old spray stuff they used to sell as a baldness concealer. It was kind of a hair spray with ultra fine silly-string type stuff that thickened existing hair and actually felt like hair when it dried. They never sold it in blue for some reason...
I know they might screw him up badly, but They didn't mess up the X-Men themselves very much, and Evolution's Kurt has shown me than even a different Nightcrawler is still worth watching. (I never thought I could deal with him having pupils)
Just for a blast of the past, here's a really old photomanip I made of Stephen Dorf in movie-ish makeup. http://www.angelfire.com/yt/reverie/images/NC_dorf.jpg
(Angelfire lost the image, so I just now re-uploaded it. Grrr...)

Oh, that would be so cool if Kurt was in the next movie. I'm not getting my hopes up (easier to be excited than disappointed) but I hope this one is true!
