OKay, this came up over at Wizard World, but it very quickly got very dumb, although I thought it was an interesting idea. What role would each character play? Any character design ideas?

wasn't there a sort of fantasy style oneshot done for Wizard once? I've seen a cover once. NC was in it, as a sort of warrior type. Very hard to get, that one.

The Wizard comic was X-Men 1/2. Not sure of the writer, but it was pencilled by Mike Weiringo and inked by Brad Vancata. The only reason I know that is because I bought two pages of it from the inker about a year ago...
Nightcrawler was a Drizzt-type warrior/elf. Colossus was a guard, Wolverine a barbarian, Marrow a thief, Storm a sorceress and Kitty an elven acrobat. Pretty cool short story...maybe once I get home I'll post the original art I have...kinda neat to see it in B/W and without captions.

Here's page 2...my scanner is deciding to not cooperate on page 12...
Hopefully that will work...I went with 400 pixels wide on the first try just to see how it looks.
I'm pretty big into original art...both published and commissioned. One of these days I'll finish the Nightcrawler art gallery. If anyone has any pages (or the cover) from Excalibur 98 (the Ellis/Pacheco Nightcrawler kicks tail issue), let me know...I'm only a few pages away from owning the entire book!
If anyone is interested in seeing what I have, let me know and I'll start posting stuff...I have some pieces that I commissioned by Darick Robertson (Transmetropolitan), John Cassaday (Planetary), and Mike S. Miller (Adv of Superman), among others.

Here's page 12...scanner apparently doesn't like the new digital camera and will only scan one thing before I have to reboot the machine. Very pesky.
