I've seen some big crashes in sports before, but this one is a big-league ouchie!@

If the link works, click 56K or 350K to see the video. Thank heaven both guys are sort-of OK, this collision is almost as bad as can be imagined.

And the saddest part of all... the ball short-hopped, they didn't even manage to catch it.
Another site mentioned that Chris Woodward (an ex-Blue Jay) grabbed the ball & threw it back in, holding the batter to a triple. He's seen trying to help Cameron in the video. Cliff Floyd (ex-Expo) is very candid about his aversion to the sight of blood
At the bottom of the report is a recalling of other horrid collisions. One is between Delano DeShields (ex-Expo) and Raul Mondesi (ex-Blue Jay)
Coincidence? Well, yeah... but I thought I'd mention it anyhow.

Ouch! I was at the Oakland Coliseum for the playoff game when Johnny Damon ran into his shortstop, and had to be taken out in an ambulance. You could hear the impact all the way in the upper deck where I was sitting at the time.
