Bad News, Quickly Followed By Good News

I don't remember if I posted that my Truck, Critter, has gone the way of all things, but he has about 4 months ago. This is not the bad news, though it was (and is) sad.

About 2 months ago, my BF, Andrew, bought a PT Cruiser, whom we named Gidget. Mellowlink and Topsie enjoyed living in her as much as they did in Critter. This is not the good news, although it was good.

The bad news is that Monday I went out to go to work, and Gidget was gone.

The good news is that I got a phone call today asking if it was OK that Gidget be parked in this guy's driveway. Apparently the theft deterrent system works and the thief couldn't get very far without the car shutting down. The thief apparantly asked the guy who called me to borrow his truck and left Gidg as sort of collateral.

Gidg is now home. The guy still doesn't have his truck. Topsie and Mellowlink are gone, but I'm hoping they were taken as evidence and will be returned soon.

It's been a wierd week...

Mellowlink is a dragon, not sure about Topsie...
That scum! He should be drawn & quartered for his crimes!
Ps: It's time to get "the club" since those shut-down things don't always deter them.

and Topsie is a triceratops. (In case it isn't obvious, they're both stuffies.)

Let's see, for small dragons, have our best friend join the Air Foce and leave you one when she goes, and for the Triceratops, you need to have you boyfriend buy you one when you go to Universal Studios after the 1st Jurrasic Park movie came out.
