Novel

Hello all.
I need help (but don't we all). I used to post on this board under a different name years ago (long since forgotten), and I'm looking for a member that was writing a novel about some kids in the midwest, punk rock, etc. I started reading it while I was in the Marines, and I have had this unfinished book in my head for years! I would like to know if anyone could give me some info on the author, name of the book, etc.

It was probably Branflakes' novel, whose name eludes me but was really cool. Where it is now I couldn't say.

That wasn't it, but kudos to Branflakes, that was outstanding.

Lemmie turn on my brain (as well as I can at 0630) and try to remember some of the details of the one I'm looking for....
I remember artwork, specifically portraits of the main characters; I also distinctly remember punk music being a large part of the story (several of the characters were in a band); and I also remember a scene in the story occuring at a holloween party. That's all I can muster right now.

I read it again a few months ago and it's still pretty good. Made me feel old, though.

The story is still unfinished, though, and he hasn't touched it in ages so I don't know if this is the best way to get hold of him.
