Tarantulas

A friend of mine gave me his wifes pet tarantula. I know they eat crickets. Anyone know how much, or how often?

according to 8 legged freaks, they eat everything for 2 hours and then they die.

I think he gave it to me to keep alive. I'm sure if he had his way he'd've killed it. He was ready to start breaking up all her shit after he tossed her out of the house.

I think I got custody because I'm the only one of her friends that would hold it. According to a google search, they eat about once a week.

Jace, you live in California. I'm betting there's more than one pet store in your area that has someone on staff who is familiar with tarantulas, and other... odd... pets. Check the yellow pages.

At worst, they'll just give you a book to read.
