There were many moments in this film that I greatly appreciated. For example- the theme song.

The fate of the UN representative.

    "i'm lonely..."

The terrible antipathy toward Matt Damian (sp?) and the messy fate of the screen actors guild.

i enjoyed watching Team America's exploits in France.

The willingness of the film-makers to piss off just about EVERYBODY they might ever want to work with (or not...)

But somehow, I was dissatisfied with the ending. I thought it was a marginal cop-out. (ie- after all that- not satirical enough)

And am I the only person who felt they were a little too pro american overall?

I don't watch South Park, but figured they were being more sarcastic than satirical.

Once again, weeks and months wait to see this down here, I don't think its too far away as they premiered it at the 48 hour V movie marathon last weekend.

And I have to say I was completely weirded out by watching Angel turned into a muppet on an episode I saw while in the States.

I could've waited for it to come out in rental stores, but friends invited me to come see it with them. There're certain movies that really should be seen on a big screen though. I don't think this was one of them.

<font size="2" face="Comic sans ms, Helvetica, sans-serif">I actually believe that that is part of the joke...I don't believe that there is one serious minute of the movie that isn't supposed to be part of a greater joke...

The ending? I'd've liked something a bit more, but at the same time, taking into account the type of movie that was being satarized, it seemed approriate, even if I would have wanted them to take it to the next level...

And I totally missed out on exactly how much they obviously don't like the Baldwins...after the South Park Movie and now this...
