Not only is the Peter Pan material by J. M. Barrie public domain in America, next year it will be a century since the character first appeared in four chapters of Barrie's book, 'The Little White Bird.' (A week-old Peter leaves his mum to live with the birds and fairies in Kensington Gardens, but can't go back.) The play and the novel soon followed.

A revival could be brewing...
