Hello to all from another newbie.
I couple of friends of ours gave us SIP last Tuesday because we were setting up at the Pgh Comicon. I was hooked!
I'm up to volume 5 of the collections(we bought a few this weeend from Terry(Thanks Terry!)). I'm trying to go slow because I'm not looking forward to every six weeks!

Hello Amy Lyn,
A relative newbie myself - to the site anyway.
First issue: vol 2, issue 9. Immediately bought the trade paperback (I dream of you) and then the Gold series reprints (though I'd love to get the orignals).
How is this series so fantastic? I don't know, and I don't care - I just love it.
Where oh where is my Francine figure? Katchoo's getting miffed at being on a shelf alone...

I'm kind of a newbie here myself.
I registered and posted some a while ago already but due to circumstances I never got to continuation.
I think SiP is cool, it's one of my favorite comictitles around.
I have some catching up to do though. So far I've read the first volume, the second volume and #1-6 of the third volume ...

Hey,
hello to all, enjoy the SIP ride.
And some of you said something about meeting at some con, so I was wondering how many of you are going to San Diego comicon? Being from Brazil that's about the only convention I go in the US.
Later to all

Hi!!
I'm new to the discussion forum too (not the series, though).
The six weeks wait is worst than death.
I've got my little sister hooked and now we rush to the comic book store together.
Who would of thought that SIP would bring families together?
Happy reading!

About the San Diego Comicon, I won't be there (since it's quite some miles from here (Netherlands to there) but it is THE con I plan to go to at least ones in my life.
If it were only for the many artists/writers you can meet there ...

Well, I'm glad we have wizard world here in chicago.....sure, having the wizard logo stamped on everything is kinda lame(hell, I think they would have tried to brand me if the Rosemont would have let them have a fire in the building....) but the guests are always cool. I have seen all but 4 of my favorites, and 3 of them 'don't do cons' anymore(Alan Moore for good reason, but still...) and the other one may be there this year. I'll probably try to hit San Diego eventually.....
At least Terry isn't snubbing us again like last year!
