i'm too lazy to check the rest of the board to see if anyone's discussed this yet, but who saw it and didja like it or what?
i loved it [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
i read Spidey in the late 80s and i was obsessed for a while.......one of the best sketches i ever did was of him, crouching, in his red/blue costume
i thought the filmmakers and actors brought it to life in such a nice way....i liked it better than Batman, too.....i thought Kirsten Dunst was, at best, average, though......i would've had Angie Everheart in that role, since MJ did go on to become a supermodel, but then, at the beginning of the story, she's supposed to be a squeaky-clean girl next door, so in that respect, the casting was alright
the effects were really well done, i think.....usually when CGIs are used, and i can see seams in it, it ruins it for me, or i'm just unable to sink into the story.....this film allowed me to do just that; i forgot about the fact that it was special effects and was able to "believe" that he was slinging his web all around town
another film that did that for me was Beetlejuice, which is why it's among my top favorite films to this day....
so what did someone else think?
and i'm gonna post this on my board, too, cuz i have a feeling no one's gonna answer this here *LOL*

i never understood, especially with couples who've been together for a while, why people pay all that cash to go to see a flick, then spend the whole time getting it on in the theater, not even watching the movie.....as if there were no other place and time to do it; it's gotta happen RIGHT THEN! and for the duration of the film, which could be 2, 3 hours in some cases.......sheeeesh! get a room
