I had an xgf that got a tatoo on her thumb tip. The guy tatooing her told me later that it was the funniest reaction he'd seen in a customer. Like watching a cartoon you could almost see the pain go from the tip of her thumb until it registered in her brain and then she reacted to it.

A miniaturized bear's paw print. Her and her friend got one on their thumbs. I was invited along to watch. Fingertips are one of the most sensitive areas on the body. I thought it was kind of an odd place to get a tatoo. Never really understood why they chose bear paws either, but figured, "to each his own".
