I gained some perspective recently.
I was hanging out among a bunch of us recent new parents with our kids when this other guy whips out your vintage Polaroid SX-70 and fires off a shot. "Click!!-Whirrrrr!!"
My mouth was within milliseconds of forming the words "Why don't you get a digital camera?" when my brain slammed on the brakes and asked me "Don't you get bent when people ask you the same thing about shooting Super-8 and why you aren't shooting video?"
Oh, well. I guess anybody can be "Format Intolerant"
(Can't we all get along?)

On my soon to finish Super-8 website, I have a page devoted to using Polaroid film as a "bracketing tool" to ensure perfect exposure results for your film shooting.

Polaroid sx70's were cool looking cameras as I remember...and weren't they one of the first Polaroid models that spit the picture out instead of having to pull it out of the camera? I just found some Polaroid slides of me in the 80's taken at my work...we were testing Polaroid's new self developing slide system...it worked ok back then, but the slides are no Kodachrome...the colors and definition weren't that great from the start, and now, most of the slides have faded badly..they have been stored in the dark , and never projected.

I bought the "projector/screen" and I had a camera for it, but I never did buy the film and try it out.
