Starting Thursday, February 16th, there will be a 6 week film
production class at Newburgh Free Academy, Newburgh, NY. The class
will meet 2 nights a week. Students will work in small groups to
concieve and produce their own short films. The course will cover all
aspects of production, from screenplays to lighting, continuity, and
shot composition, to the final editing stages. The films will be made
with professional grade Super-8 film equipment, this is not a video class.
Registration is $150. All materials and equipment are provided.

Here's the thing...The school district that's sponsoring the class isn't Satisfied with the response so far. The thing was promoted very late. They've told everyone that registered that we're holding out for a few more people. I want to get this thing going, so if anyone is interested or knows anyone that might be, drop me a line! As soon as the Board of ED. gives the "ok" we'll be making movies!
