what are some careers in film

Hi, I'm a Middle School teacher and my students are interested in making a short film using DV camcorder. It must be educationally aligned. What are some of the major career(job)titles in a film along with their duties?

Producer : I'm not really sure
Director : Set out how it appears, way its acted etc
Director of Photography (DOP) : In charge of how it is filmed, camera shots etc
Casting Director : Casts film, my cousins run a casting company, I can ask them for more info on this if you want
Camera person : does the actual filming
Actor : acts in film

These are most of the main ones, but there are loads of others

Producer: finds fundings, gets people to fund the actual project I think, apart from that , i have no idea

Just to correct gaspode cos the way he worded what the director and DOP do sounded a little strange:

director: gets performance out of the actors, decides what shots to do, in charge on set.

DOP: decides all technical stuff, e.g what the colour will be like, what film to use, what lighting to be used (on smaller projects anyway) and other stuff. He works closely with the director.

loads of other people involved in film, like gaspode mentioned... a few include

Grip: ?? to my understanding moving whatever tracking device that the shot needs

Clapper Board loader: person who does the clapper board

Gaffer: Head electrician

Best Boy: ?? think its the assistant electrician

Boom Operator: holds the boom with the microphone on

Fluffer: For warming them up

and thats all that I can think of at this moment, if anyone see's that any of those are wrong please correct them cos i don't know much
