    Howdy.

I'm deeply interested in moviemaking and I desperately want to get involved with film.
I have an old Super8 camera and a bit of other equipment...but I need to find a RELIABLE place for the purchasing and developing of the catridges.
    Any suggestions?
I'm in the ol' USA, so you know...

Well, probably the most reliable is from the dragon itself........"kodak". If you aren't in or near any major city centers this is probably the easiest way to go about it. They are located at www.kodak.com (surprise, surprise). There's also a very reputable company in california that has their own high end films available. i have never used them myself but I've been refered to them several times. The major downfall with using Kodak is the turnover time. Especially if you shoot kodachrome. Best advice.....Shoot lots.

    Take care and happy shooting.

Welcome to the world of Super-8!

tashunka gave you good advice. Kodak now sells Super-8 film directly to consumers, so why not take advanrage?

For their toll-free number and current pricing, and for a list of labs that will process your film, check out http://www.dibbs.net/~brantley/s8serv.htm.
