    I have shot with it outside using an 85B filter--this is a MUST. The filter built into Super8 cams is an 85--not an 85B so you will not get proper correction in daylight(you will be about 200 degrees Kelvin off). I shot some of the forest fires that were raging in the west over the summer and it looked great. I still like K40 more but the VNF when filtered properly give good results in my opinion. Good Luck

    What is VNF. I suppose your talking about the ektachrome.

    Question

    Has anyone out there seen the VNF stock after it's been transfered to video? I usually use K-40(even for my low light stuff) and have, on a few occasions, used the pro stuff. I hear that the grain is pretty bad and the colors come out muddled. Is this true?
