Beaulieu S2008 (battery)

I just pick up a S2008 but it has no good battery so can any one help me find battery or a replacement for the old style?

It might be hard to find one that still takes a charge. If you search on the Internet, you can perhaps find someone who recells the old dead batteries.

But even an old dead one could be useful. There is a very detailed explanation of how to build an inexpensive external battery pack for a 2008 starting about halfway down this page here:
