Well this topic sparked such a reaction and over 200 views on the shooting 8mm site, I figured I might as well post the same topic on this one.

This was finished just about a year ago. I got professional copies made and entered in some festivals. Not much luck except for a couple in Los Angeles. I have 20 copies I love to pawn off for $10 a piece. Just contact me via email over the site. Maybe someone could learn a little bit about Super 8 from it. Here are some quick facts.

Shot all in Super 8, mostly K40, some Tri-X black and white, and some older Ektachrome Type G from the seventies.

Sound recorded on location with a DAT

    Shot with a Nizo 6080

Transferred via Roger's DV-8 to mini DV

Compressed to a piece of garbage (the VHS copies are 1,000% better) and thrown on here for your viewing pleasure.

Plus its the only film to be displayed on Roger's site under the gallery section....YES!

    Enjoy!

    That was great.

I'd love to see more stuff like that on the web. Unfortunately, I'm usually on my laptop and it can barely stay online for half an hour without locking up. No way could it have downloaded that whole movie.
