There is a restored real JU-52 in Gainesville,Florida. It's documented that Hitler personally flew in the plane twice.I worked on a TV doc on it back in 1981 where there was wingwalk with I think 18 skydivers.
At the time the plane belonged to Martin Caiden, author of The Six Million Dollar Man and Marooned.

what can I say... I am impressed.

do you think that u could do the shadow this way...

print the shadow that you have made in a photoshop to a transparent film. (sorry my english again, I don`t know what to call it...the kind that they project images on a wall in schools?) and place it to the foreground with the model?

The intricate framework of the cockpit made masking a real bugger.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">lol .. paint it before you put it together!!
i used to rush through my models when i was little and then botch the paint job .. its a good thing you're patient.

this is a really interesting thread, im VERY new to filming ... so this is alot of fun to follow.

    cheers
