ok, so im gunna be shooting my next film in a few weeks, and i want the best sound i can get from it, and want to do as little voice over stuff as i can...

can anyone give me any help on a good, cheap mic?
Im gunna be filming on a Panasonic DV cam.

ATR-55

I asked the same question on this board some time ago, and this is the answer that I got. You'll need a shotgun mic since you only want to capture dialogue. The ATR has given me fine quality so far.

There might be a better follow up though, not sure.

The atr-55 costs around 100 euros.
