nb, my PC isn't letting me type for more than 5 mins without throwing up an error... so in brief...
1) decided to blow cobwebs off final draft (the computer prog).
2) have got the urge to be creative again.
3) am an in-flight psychiatric nurse in RAF (no joke).
4) currently live in Wiltshire
5) transit to S & E Yorkshire regularly.
6) able to travel to S of England for collaborations of short films
6) have some short film ideas/music vid ideas.
8) looking for people with own kit to get stuck in and shoot film rather than Arabs.
9) anyone notice I wrote 6) twice?
10) email me on [email protected]
11) have two short films that have already done the festival circuits (back in 2001-2003) in UK and USA. (I say Circuits but they both only did 2 fests).
Take care
Mitch

What sort of short are you thinking of doing? I have some PC software for editing and special effects and training in the area. I'd be happy to help out. I live in south yorkshire, not far from doncaster.
Sadly I can't offer any access to a camera or sound recording software. I too am after that kind of equipment.
What sort of films have you submitted to festivals previously?

computer still playing up.
In the Jeans and Black & Blue are my only produced shorts. Raindance, Leeds and York fests (I forget the year) and the latter film doing a few state-side fests.
Not into slasher and horror particularly; i tend to write dark humoured thriller/drama.
Looking to just have a bit of a laugh but keen to spend my money on making a short film look good than a feature look bad. Not looking for monetary returns... just adding to a (dusty) showreel.

i'm contemplating getting back into doing location sound recording - albeit very low budget, using a laptop with a mke66 running through a ua-25 which i haven't bought yet (that's the contemplation bit).
post production sound design, i seem to have amassed a large library of spot fx and wildtrack over the last couple of years, so it's possible i could help out there too.
so when you've got your locations sorted, maybe look me up as a potential location sound recordist ....
