I'm hosting a new site at lovecraft.biz. There's not much there yet (and DNS needs to fully propagate) but I'd be interested in impressions of what it's all about (not sure I know myself yet).

I like it. Reminds me of Radiohead's sight. Not sure how much data transfer there is but it definetly conveys a tone.

Don't want to sound like my Dad here, but I'm not sure I quite understand what you're trying to do. Is this tied in to a film you're making, based on Lovecraft's universe, or is it a seperate entity?

Well, my thoughts at the moment is that it will indeed lead to some sort of film production .... eventually.

Right now I'm exploring a kind of Lovecraft paranoia meets The Cluetrain (as a consequence of my Chi Xi Stigma premise).

Although I admire HP Lovecraft's concepts and genre, I've never been able to engage reading his writing style. However, during his lifetime he apparently encouraged others to extend his mythos, and it's that (coupled with his work in the public domain) that I'm interested in, as a starting point for a "bigger" story with a contemporary and seemingly ordinary everyday setting. ("Ordinary" coupled with paranoia was also a deep seated Philip K Dick theme - an author I found exceeding easy to read).

I might set the tone and a few ground rules and open it up to a scriptwriting competition.
