how much is it to hire a digital camera by the week and the cost to edit one in an edit suite?

I'll start again. Does anyone know roughly the cost of a good DV camera to rent, and when it comes to editing do I hire a suite or use my two vhs videos?

If you're good at blagging, I'm sure you can get the equipment for very little.

A good example was I managed to "hire" out a DV camera from a local TV station for ?20...
I picked the camera up on Friday.
This was for filming my mums wedding on Saturday, and i didn't have to return the camera till Monday after work!

(In the end, it didn't even cost me that, I went to pick up the camera, and I was told not to worry about the cash!)

Maybe helps if you've worked there for over a year....
