EXT. Graveyard, Night

Two teenagers are sat on a bench in front of an old church by a graveyard. It?s dark but there?s a bright light shining on them.
The first boy, DAVE, is tall with dark spiked hair.
The second boy, RYAN, is slightly shorter with dark red hair.

DAVE I remember this one time my friends and I were all in Spain, you know,
Typical lads holiday. Birds, booze, pills?. you know?One night we went out and got so drunk we lost each other about midnight and I was properly wasted, couldn?t fucking see straight let alone stand up.
Anyway, I was stumbling around this nightclub looking for my mates
And some fat bird came up to me and asked If I was alright.
We started chatting, and I mean I was so fucked I couldn?t even make

DAVE Anyway, I literally crawled up the hill to her apartment cos she said

So I walk in, look at the pigs with my mates in cuffs, say hello and walk through to the first bedroom on the left! I thought I was trippin
Out or something, so I just try and ignore it and put it down to the drugs. So then I think, right, I?m probably gonna get some now from that bird that picked me up. I get totally naked in the bed, throw my clothes out onto the balcony. I wait for her to come in, tryin to get it up, which was practically fucking impossible considering?waited a bit longer?.then passed out.

RYAN (in laughing fits) What the fuck happened?

DAVE Woke up in the morning, thinking, fucking hell?it?s a bit cold in here.
Open my eyes, ya know, coming around????..?I?m sat naked, in a fuckin Spanish prison?my mates all next to me looking scared shitless. What the fuck!!!!
They told me that I wasn?t seeing things, they got picked up by these
Girls who were fucking undercover, picking up pillheads, pushers?

Clothes off the balcony into the fucking swimming pool, so they just

RYAN (laughing) Fuck me, that sounds like a bit of a fucked up night.
I?ve pulled some fat mingers in my time, but never been sent to

She actually got out a picture of herself when she was a bit younger,
And a lot thinner. In the picture she looked OK, but the girl standing next to me was about 200 pounds heavier and a lot fucking uglier. She said that this is how she used to look before she started taking

Both the lads start laughing hard. They both sigh then one RYAN lights up a cigarette.

DAVE You know those things will kill you?.

They both start laughing even harder, we don?t realise why yet.
RYAN offers DAVE a cigarette and they both light up.

RYAN Is there anything you wish you could have done differently, if you

The two lads pause and think things over. Ryan looks at Dave.

RYAN So is there much point swapping insurance details?

They both start laughing.

RYAN You usually drive like that or did you drink the beer you were buying

DAVE Shit?I?m so sorry man?pretty fucked up, huh?
What you gonna do now?

RYAN What can you do? I left my handbook at home on this sorta thing back

DAVE and RYAN both snigger.

DAVE Think we?ll make the papers?

RYAN Probably.

Pause?

DAVE Got much family back home?

RYAN Yeh, couple of brothers, the usual. I can?t imagine what this is gonna
Do to them.

DAVE I know, I feel like I should be pissed off, ya know, but I feel really
Bad for you?your family?my family.

RYAN The whole world wonders what happens next?and now we find out?
Let?s go find out.

The boys stand up, shake hands and walk off in their separate directions. RYAN walks through the graveyard out of shot and DAVE walks down towards the town centre where we see people gathered round looking at something.

FADE OUT to black.

FADE IN to local Newspaper front page with the headline ?TWO LOCAL YOUTHS KILLED IN CAR CRASH?. Below the headline are pictures of both DAVE and RYAN and the top paragraph reads;

?Two local youths were instantly killed in a horrific car crash last night after one of the boys span out of control for a reason unknown to police.
The boys were 19 year old student RYAN DAVISON and 18 year old student DAVE O?BRIEN.?

FADE OUT to black.

That was the line when I thought "Those guys are ghosts..."
Why show them on the graveyard? I think that's what made it predictable. They could also sit in a park or somewhere else...


But despite its predictability I still like it!

Go ahead and shoot that stuff, but try not to let the guys tell the story through their dialogue parts. Show the appartment with the police, the spanish prison, and so on...
