But I have people to care about these things on my behalf. You for instance. You need to strike a balance. So you need people on either side of these views and people in the middle. I just happen to be on the one side as opposed to the other.

When it comes down to it, I just want to make a living doing IT development. I will find fulfillment and expression elsewhere (hence the filmmaking).

You sound a little patronising. I can guess why.

Cool. I was aiming for patronizing. smile

Still, enlighten me as to why I might be that way?

Go on, you know you want to.

    Red face

Posting my thoughts on why I imagine a developer is being patronising just wouldn't be professional.

BTW, nice website Stephen. Finally one to make my one look good ;-)

I would be interested in knowing what films you have/are made/making, the fascination of what themes a developer might deal with is too much to resist ...

BTW, Chance, in DOS I'd use
    echo %username%
    and pipe it somewhere useful.
shows how much I know about OO 'programming' on win32 (ie zilch, and keeping it that way for now)

    ;-)
