How crucial is ram? I got 128mb.

very. you can never have too much. 128 is a great start. probably sufficient for most things you want to do. Final Cut Pro and some paint programs require more, depending on how you have your computer set up. I run with 128 but definitely want another 64megs.

128 is great, that's how much i have, and my Adobe Premier runs perfectly. But computer video depends on a lot of other things, like proccesser. I have a AMD Aphlon, wich is as fast as Pentium 3. The more ram the better, but remember that other things matter too. And it never hurts to upgrade your computer.

Like the others said, You never have too much ram. I'm running Adobe with an RT2000 card. I'm using 256k and wish I had more. Put it this way: Using my computers sysytem monitor, which shows processor usage, I am maxed out during capture. Mind you, I have a PentiumIII 550, all SCSI system. More is good!!!
