Saw it a few nights ago.
Very funny. Any one else see it?? What did you think??
To me it was the story that really carried the movie. Sure, there were funny bits that may have been funny no matter what.
But my gripe about "Napoleon Dynamite" was that there really wasn't any story. It all seemed to be watered down schlock that was only there to build to the dance scene.
Where as "Eagle Vs Shark" was a great quirky spin on the love story. Sure, that can be formulaic. At the same time take the winning formula and build something new and fun around it and it becomes a great story.
Good Luck

I haven't seen it but the style of the publicity stills immediately reminded me of Garden State which I saw a while ago.

Don't judge a movie by the poster Miker....
The only thing they have in common is that a boy and girl fall in love--Other than that. Nothing.
Good Luck

I wouldn't worry, Nigel. It's just Miker's usual "I've seen everything a thousand times. Nothing is original...etc., etc."
Just teasing Miker
