thanks for the tip cash...good to know someone is thinking of us struggling composers! [img]wink.gif[/img]
but....i did send a CD to those people a few weeks ago, and then after a while i sent a follow up email to check if they had recieved it, and they never replied.
it could be that they think i am rubbish and are to rude to be up front about it!!!
if someone has more success with them than me i would like to hear about it!

they said something about a cd being the least prefferable option, so maybe they got a bunch of showreels and then never listened to it

you're probably right.
when i saw the original advert a few weeks ago, they just asked for a CD. and now they are asking for a demo reel.
i guess they decided a CD isn't good enough.
my problem is that out of the 5 films i have scored this year, i would only really be happy showing one. the others are OK, but not really showcase pieces!
and the best quality film, has got my worse music in it, because i had to score it in 48 hours without seeing it (competition entry)
so hopefully in the new year, i will re-score it and then i will have something i am proud of for a demo reel.
