With its unique selling point - I decided to see Omen today in its first showing here in Oxford! I was pretty impressed! Pretty good storyline, good characters & some jumpy moments! Shot well too!

I haven't seen the original, absolutely nothing about this film meant I had to have though - which was great. Anyway, I strongly recommend seeing it. It may be a little slow in places, there may be a few inacuracies too (see below) - but its still good throughout. I say 7/10, my friends gave it 8/10!

(Spoilers!) The main innacuracy I felt was why the hell did the hospital in Rome allow a dog into the maternity ward & secondly how & why the hell did they let it give birth there [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I'm guessing it doesn't have Patrick Troughton.

I thought I read an article in American Cinematographer saying it was true to the book and original film, but that was Poseidon...
