Have STF ever considered making a documentary instead of a movie?

It would be a lot easier, you just need to think of a subject that people would be interested in. Do some research, grab a camera and just film the source.

Look at that guy who made a documentary about eating nothing but McDonald's food for a month.

Might be easier to "break through" this way.

Yeah, I've thought about it. It's not really easier, once you consider the logistics.

The problem is, you're at the mercy of your subject. You've got to follow them around night and day, and use up a lot of stock to record the few moments when something interesting actually happens.

Not an option when your crew works full-time on day jobs.

A docu on the rise and fall of STF would have been quite interesting.

    Why not try faking it?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Not THAT interesting, Kev. Trust me. And the idea of faking a documentary fills me with such despair for an artform that I onced loved but am now totally indifferent to that I could just go and lie down in the road facing oncoming traffic.

    Or maybe it's because it's 2.30 am and I can't sleep.
