None of the promoters at all knew anything about the King Prawn thing, the whole event was just to pass an assigment for their course. The event itself was great, but with some bad acts all the same.. There were 3 different stages for acoustic, live and DJ.. there was a band that did two RATM covers, and I must say they were nearly spot on, very nice indeed
lol the place was packed out, it was great to be a part of it.
but back to the King Prawn thing.. I have no idea how the rumour was started, but thats all it was, just a rumour

Ian from SONY told me that King Prawn were playing that gig... I'm guessing he was told the lie and was just passing it on like everyone else.

Harry you are correct. I was deliberately mislead. King Prawn are coming to the Winter Gardens in the near future though.

we were asked to do 20 minutes, but then every band had been given 15 minutes.. except the bands like Skyfish and Just..
so we all had mini sets to fit in all the other acts.. shame really lol

why is every indie person in gy giving just: so much hype? i havnt got anything against the band, for they are my friends and relitives, but i saw the flyer for the gig there playing us, and it said" plus very speacil guests just:" what is it with them? or is it something i canrt see?
