Good for them. They're actually going places now rather than being pinned down by a bunch of loser fans who don't even appreciate the music

Well, thats a pretty unfounded statement.
For one, you accuse their fans of not appreciating their music. basically, that sweeping generalisation can be dismissed without any deconstruction.
You describe supporting two hype bands as going places. Well i'm not really a fan of any of these bands, so you could just call it a negative attitude, but a couple of bland, "emo" in the loosest term, rock bands is hardly career building. No doubt the throng off 14 year olds who will be attending these shows will probably miss the opening band due to them not being in the latest music rag thats doing the rounds at grade school or whatever our chums over the atlantic call it.
Also, to make a commitment and then back out at the last minute for a supposed better offer is a pretty low thing to do. Will promoters be reimbursed for promotion costs, venue deposit etc. No, they won't. Will British fans AGAIN getting fucked over because a band get there priorities out of shot take any solace in the fact that they're skipping out on them because they may 2 inches of column space in Alternative Press, lets hope not.
And lets remember, these are a piddly little DIY band, basically the only reason they get anywhere is due to them taking their prerequisite huge percentage of the door takings and selling their dodgy merch, all that money coming directly from people who have come to see their shows, so to repeatedly cancel a tour is a slap in the face to people who would consider themselves fans.
Small Brown Bike aren't Guns 'n' Roses, they aren't important at all the grand scheme of things, except to their fans, who they've decided not to cater for because they are gay.
