u. All bands hav to start somewhere u know. So wot if we started off with a few dodgy covers, there are very few bands on hear that can claim to be doin spot on performences from day one. Have u even heard our resent gigs? yeh we still do the odd not to hot one, but we're certainly alot better than the days of R.E.M covers.
And as for this about allways being a local band. Do we play the type of music that has a mass local appel? i think not mate. If anything the last place i would expect to find a fan for our music is around here. We've allready had intrest from record labels and i beleave all u need to make it in this bussiness is ambition and u deffinately can't say we havn't got that.

I've seen SONY twice, maybe three times. You are shit, IMHO. That could just be because I don't like the way you dress/come across/portray yourselves. Personally, I can't abide it. Makes my skin crawl, etc. But still, each to their own, eh? You probably wouldn't like my band. But that's just because we'd make your ears bleed.

Actually quite a few can,and as for the all you need is ambition comment..I think you will find a great deal of talent helps too..unless you are aiming for the manufactured "pop" market.Play more out of town gigs and less local ones..thats not a slagging thats advice...cos pimping yourselves to $olid is not an oportunity..I enjoy the odd local gig...but lets face it..there arent a lot of talent scouts round here.ANd dont forget the emo/indie bubble is about to burst.....

I'd say alot of luck is involved too, been in the right place at the right time etc. etc. and I guess Ants is right, its best to gig elsewhere rather then here, because outside of GY is where the oppurtunities lie

cheers for that ants but i'm not sayin that we don't hav talent.Ok other ppl will disagree so wot fukk them. Chris in my opinion and i'm sure alot of other ppls to, is one of the best guitarist in the area. We make music that first and formost we enjoy listening to. i couldn't give a toss if some ppl think we're because i'm sure most of the ppl thinkin it, would like music i thinks . Everyone entitled to an opinon as u said. But be fair if everyone whent around spoutin there opinions u'd just get alot of ed off ppl.
The main reson we do solid gigs is for the practise and the money. i would love to get away from here and gig allover the country but i don't feel we're quite ready yet. We are goin down to gig london in a few months and we need to be experinced at giging. We're not fukkin stupid enouth to think were gonna be singed from just playin gy gigs
