I'm selling some drum stuff on eBay...is it alright to mention it on here or is that frowned upon?

I'd say there's nothing wrong with it. Feel free to post exactly what you are selling i.e. what drums/cymbals/sizes and you might want to mention if the item(s) is particularly rare or a collecter's item. I know that there are several members here always on the look-out for that special snare/cymbal. As long as it's not boring advertising, go for it!
