Hey guys. I m goin to go on a trip to London with my band...all the way from Hawaii! Ill stay there during spring break so thats from like the 19th to the 25th or something like that.

My band has a gig at the Caernavorn Castle (or someting like that...) on the 24th...

I even get to check out a studio (not sure which one)... and maybe our friend will let us check out air studios too!

Well anyway are there any good Record shops and drum /music shops around? Ive never been in a drum shop before!!! and would be awesome to check some out (i still play my ZBTs....) would be good if i could get good used gear for cheap or somethig like that and getting to try out stuff before i buy it is like unimaginably cool!

Hey GoMan, I think I know the pub that you're talking about, if it IS, then it's on Wigmore St, near St. Johns Smith Square which is just off Oxford St.
As for drum shops, there are a few. Footes in Golden Square, which is off Picadilli Circus. Wembley Drum Center, in Wembley which is out of the center of town, but a huge drum store. There's also The Rock Shack in Croydon, which is south east London.

It would be good to check out Air Lindhurst Studios, which is George Martins' place. See if you can get into Abbey Road too, you'll love that. I once did an album in studio 2, where Sgt Pepper was recorded. I couldn't believe it, the history. I asked "where do I set up my kit?" the reply was "over there, in Ringo Corner!!"

Have a good time over here and also check out who's playing at Ronnie Scotts or The 606 jazz club in Chelsea.

haha.. nah im not exactly touring.... wellwere just gonna play some gigs while were there.

But now ive never been to a drum shop!!

If i wanted to try out gear here itll be like... ummm there are some B8s... or you can try the ZBTs!

im just so scared and worried that my beginner playiing wont cut it at all in such a huge music scene and it will be embarassing.... but whatevers. as long as im enjoying it.
