Some time ago, there was a thread on here I'm sure, about the origin of the Sting track 'Nothin 'Bout Me' from Ten Summoer's Tales. In the thread there was a link to the song which was obviously the 'inspiration' for Sting!!
I've searched the forum as best as I can - can anyone help any further - it's driving me nuts!!???

Good question!

I have another question concerning that tune.

I've heard a different version ( probably a demo? ).

In the chorus were there's a call'n respons choir singing "Still know nothing bout me". it is clearly that the chords those voices is singing is not those been played on the final version? They sound more like an expanded 2 5 1 progression or something like that.

Anyone happens to have the original demo kinda thing? it sounds killer with the old chords! instead of that ostinato thing that just goes on and on
