After making a call or two I believe this isn't true. I may be wrong. I was told the gig is not up for grabs.

Hey guys,
Just going off what info's been past to me, its still at a stage i believe where it may or may not be up for grabs!

Would be a cracking gig though... sorry for the pun

I met Brendan at last NAMM as well as the Steve Smith gig with Vic Firth artist. Seems like a really nice down to earth guy. He just moved to LA, so I wonder what's up with the Shakira gig?
